Let The Heavens Throw A Party

You get an unexpected phone call late at night.
You hear the news.
You're left speechless.
You're eyes start to water as a smile comes across your face.
Because you know a major prayer has just been answered.
Because you know that prayer means the world to another friend.
And in that moment, you're just happy to share in that person joy.
And be a witness in God's grand scheme.
More than anything, you're just happy that that person has come home.
And to know that God is rejoicing at this moment.

I don't really know what they're doing up there in heaven right now.
I'm assuming they're throwing a party.
Me, I prefer to sit back with a calm smile, as if I'm not all that surprised.
And boast with confidence what I firmly believe in.
That God is good. He is so good.

I don't need to name names, you guys know who you are.
